The SOVT State Golf Tournament will take place on Monday, August 25th, 2014 at the Equinox in Manchester, Vermont. This is very important, as this tournament IS a QUALIFIER for the 2015 Special Olympics World Summer Games. We have a slot for a single male Level 5 golfer, and the ones that win gold at this tournament will qualify for World Games. Again, please pass this information along to everyone that competes or coaches.
Note that the Chittenden program does not formally offer golf but individuals from the Chittenden program may find a partner and sign up for the tournament. Thanks, Dave

You're invited to the USA Games send-off Hooray! You're job? Be energetic, scream, cheer, smile and have fun!
Special Olympics Vermont will be sending 50 athletes, coaches and delegation support to the 2014 USA Games in Princeton, New Jersey. Athletes will compete for gold in athletics, aquatics, basketball, bocce and bowling.
Please join us at the Hilton Burlington on Saturday, June 14th @ 9:30am to cheer on our athletes as they board the bus to the Games! Wear your Special Olympics Vermont swag and report to first floor lobby that faces Battery Street. Free 2 Hour parking is located in the Burlington Town Center Mall Parking Garage off of Cherry Street.

Our Chittenden delegation had a wonderful weekend at the Vermont Summer Games. We are proud of all of our athlete's and partners accomplishments and thankful for our coach's time and energy training and preparing for the competition! Thanks everyone!
