Learn to Sail!

When the ice melts, please join Special Olympics Vermont and the Community Sailing Center for the inaugural Adaptive Watersports Program Sail Training. Our goal is to provide sail training to anyone interested in learning to sail and, possibly, compete in a local or regional Regatta. This is a pilot year, so we're focused on sail training first then, depending on timing and the athlete's comfort level, we will investigate potential Regattas for the opportunity to compete. Dates and times for sail training will be determined once we know how many people are interested. Sail training is typically a 15 hour course spread across a few weekends or days. If you're interested please contact Lisa DeNatale at Special Olympics Vermont ldenatale@vtso.org or, if you have specific questions regarding sailing, please contact Ryan Robinson at ryan@communitysailingcenter.org

2015 Mother's Day Flower Sale

It is Flower sale time again!

Our delegation needs to raise funds in order to support our year-round sports training and athletic competition for athletes.

We wholeheartedly encourage our athletes to take an active role in fundraising and encourage families and caregivers to support their athlete's efforts as well.

Please remember that our flower sale last year was so very successful because we were the first non-profit organization out in the community offering these beautiful plants to our family, friends and neighbors. So don't delay!
