2018 Burlington Penguin Plunge, Saturday February 3rd

Our Cross Country Ski and Snowshoe team will be handing out towels at the 2018 Burlington Penguin Plunge again this year. We invite all other athletes who would like to help hand out towels to join us at the Waterfront. We will meet at the event tents at 10:15 a.m.

As you may know, the Penguin Plunge is Special Olympics Vermont's signature fundraising event raising a significant funds and community awareness! Our program has supported this event for many years by hosting a plunging team, The Chittenden Chatterers, and by handing out towels at the event. For many years, local programs shared in the revenue from the plunge by receiving plunger registration fees for any plunger who selected their local program on the registration. Last year, Special Olympics Vermont added another revenue sharing option. Each delegation may identify a plunging team to represent the delegation and receive 50% of the funds raised by that team. Chittenden Cross Country Ski and Snowshoe practice at University Mall - 1/27/18

All, the trails are closed at the Catamount Outdoor Family Center and the Burlington Bike Path has a lot of ice so...... We will have practice at the University Mall this Saturday, 1/27/2018. See you there! Dave
