Chittenden Cross Country Ski and Snowshoe practice at University Mall, 2/9/19

Hi all, the Catamount Outdoor Family Center trails are closed and we have an icy bike path and very high winds predicted for tomorrow so practice will be at the University Mall again. We want everyone to attend as this is a part of our training and preparation and it is good for everyone to train together! See you there :-)

2019 Recreational Floorball - Mark the dates

The Chittenden Local Program is happy to announce the beginning of a new recreational floorball program.

This program will be held once a month this winter. We will meet up and form teams among those present and play a few floorball games.  

This is a recreational program, which means that it is open to anybody, even if you are competing in another Special Olympics sport.

You can also participate even if you have not played floorball before.  Floorball is an easy sport to learn and you will pick it up in no time.

This program is a fun way to exercise and  keep in touch with your friends.    Click=====>

First Chittenden Cross Country Ski and Snowshoe practice to be at the Burlington Bike Path, 1/5/19

Hi all, the Catamount Outdoor Family Center is closed and the weather will be mild so we will hold our first Cross Country Ski and Snowshoe practice at the Burlington Bike Path from 9:00 - 11:00 on Saturday 1/5/19. We meet at Leddy Park and walk the bike path from there. Bathrooms are available in the Leddy Ice rink. Athletes are required to attend the alternative practices to meet the 8 week training program.
