2010 Summer Games June 4th, 5th and 6th

Our athletes have been hard at work training for the last 8 to 10 weeks in preparation for Summer Games this coming weekend at the University of Vermont. The overview of schedule of events is:

Friday June 4th
4:00 - 5:00pm Check in for those staying overnight at UVM
6:00 - 6:45pm Dinner at Harris Millis Commons Dining (credentialed individuals only)
7:00pm Line up for Parade
7:30 - 8:30pm Opening Ceremonies
8:30pm Coaches meeting at the tent behind Turf field

Saturday June 5th
7:00 - 8:00am Breakfast at Harris Millis Commons Dining (credentialed individuals only)
8:30am Coaches meeting Softball at venue
9:00am Coaches meeting all other sports at venue
9:00 - 1:00pm Healthy Athlete Special Smiles
10:00 – 4:00pm Olympic Town / Healthy Athlete- Opening Eyes, Fun fitness, Health promotion /Merchandise Sales
9:15 – 12:00 Competition – all venues
12:00 – 1:30 Lunch at the tent behind Turf field (credentialed individuals only)
1:00 – 4:30pm Competition resumes
5:30 – 6:30 pm Dinner at the indoor tennis court(credentialed individuals only)
7:00 – 9:00 pm Dance (Theme: ‘80’s – dress in your best Madonna or Miami Vice –
“like totally dude”, “awesome”)– Olympic Town – Big tent
Sunday June 6th
7:00 - 8:00am Breakfast at Harris Millis Commons Dining (credentialed individuals only)
8:45 - 9:00 am Coaches meeting
9:00 – 12:00 pm Competition
10:00 – 2:00 pm Olympic Town – Merchandise sales – Big tent
12:00 – 1:00pm Lunch (credentialed individuals only)
1:00 – 2:30pm Competition Resumes

Medications must be in original prescription bottle and be given the coach for the weekend. 

Please note that those staying overnight at UVM will need to bring either sleeping bags or linen and towels for showers.

2010 Summer Sports Practices




Our summer sports practices are starting soon!

Softball
Weather permitting, practice begins Saturday April 3rd, 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Schifillitti field located at the end of Gosse Court in Burlington.

Our Delegation needs to raise funds in order to support our year-round sports training and athletic competition for athletes living in the Chittenden County region of Vermont.
