2009 Summer Games June 5, 6, 7

Our athletes have been hard at work training for the last 8 to 10 weeks in preparation for Summer Games this coming weekend at the University of Vermont. The overview of schedule of events is:

Friday June 5th
4:00 - 5:00pm Check in for those staying overnight at UVM
5:30 - 6:15pm Dinner at Harris Millis Commons Dining (credentialed individuals only)
6:15pm Line up for Parade
6:40 - 7:00pm Law Enforcement Torch Run final Leg from Windjammer to UVM Opening Ceremonies
7:00pm Opening Ceremonies

Saturday June 6th
10:00 – 4:00pm Olympic Town / Healthy Athlete /Merchandise Sales
9:15 – 12:00 Competition – Athletics, Bocce and Softball
9:15 – 1:30 Competition - Aquatics
12:00 – 1:00 Lunch (credentialed individuals only)
1:00 – 4:30pm Competition Resumes
5:00pm Entertainment-Olympic Town- Big tent
5:30 – 6:30 pm Dinner (credentialed individuals only)
7:00 – 9:00 pm Dance (Theme: The Movie GREASE)– Olympic Town – Big tent

Sunday June 7th
9:00 – 12:00 pm Competition
10:00 – 2:30 pm Olympic Town – Merchandise sales – Big tent
12:00 – 1:00pm Lunch (credentialed individuals only) / Closing Remarks
1:00 – 2:30pm Competition Resumes
