Each year Special Olympics Vermont recognizes the significant impact SOVT volunteers and athletes have on programs and communities throughout Vermont. Please nominate someone who deserves recognition. An SOVT staff member will contact you to gather any additional details about the nominee’s accomplishments, challenges and dedication. Award recipients will be celebrated at the Annual Award Banquet on Saturday, March 9, 2013. Deadline for submission is Thursday, January 31, 2012. In 2011, Malai was awarded female athlete of the year. In 2010, Sarah L. was awarded female athlete of the year and Tammy was awarded coach of the year. I am sure that others from Chittenden have received awards in years past! Congratulations to all!
