The second change is that without Champlain Lanes, there are not enough lanes in Chittenden County for the statewide bowling competition at Holiday Games. So, Special Olympics Vermont will hold two regional competitions, one at the Twin City Family Center in Barre which we will attend and the second in Rutland for the southern Vermont teams. The top two teams and the top two individuals from each division at the regional games will advance to the Holiday Games. The teams and individuals who do not qualify for Holiday Games will continue practicing but not compete at Holiday Games. That is a big change!
Here is the schedule

In addition to bowling, we will be offering Floorball and Swimming. Since not all bowlers will advance to Holiday Games, we will allow bowlers to also register for either swimming or floorball.
Pre-register with Chittenden by contacting Karen or Dave Bogdan by phone (865-3840) or email (dbogdan@ieee.org) to sign up. We have to register our Holiday Games delegation roster including athletes, partners, coaches and 1:1 support by October 18th so we need to know who is joining!
Remember, you have to have a current medical on file to participate. Medicals are good for 3 years.
