You're Invited: Special Olympics Health Forum

Staggering statistics reveal critically high levels of obesity rates, tooth decay and an array of other untreated health problems for those with intellectual disabilities.  Please join us on Saturday, June 4th for a look into the health disparities faced by Vermont’s intellectually disabled population and what Special Olympics is doing to make a difference.

The Special Olympics Vermont Health Forum will provide information about our Healthy Athletes Program which helps improve access to care and increase physical and social activity to impact lives statewide.  We will discuss the need for action and how health professionals, community agencies and families can get involved.

Please be our guest on Saturday, June 4th at the University of Vermont, Gutterson Sports Complex
